Our overall review: Screaming. Crying. Throwing up. Priscilla, you absolutely just did the damn thing. I’ve been counting down the days for this album to drop and now that it’s here? I can’t stop listening… and it’s only 9 a.m. Priscilla just delivered an ACM Award–winning–energy album that’s launching her into the next level of country music, a space we all knew Block was destined to enter. This record is raw, honest, and real… everything Priscilla’s career has been built on. And honestly? She’s setting industry standards with this one. So set back, grab a drink, order PB’s album Things You Didn’t See on vinyl, and listen on HON – The Blog: New Music Friday’s playlist

Okay – would it be a House of Nickk – The Blog. post if we didn’t go full blown extra? Continue reading to see our full breakdown song by song on exactly how we feel on PB’s newest sophomore album!

1. Things You Didn’t See

    • Exactly that, “Things You Didn’t See.” This one’s an instant tearjerker. Priscilla knew exactly how to hook us into all 14 tracks (as if we weren’t already planning to listen to the whole thing). I wish I had more words for this one, but damn y’all… it hits deep. Now I feel like I’m even more of a bestie with Priscilla. So, BRB… grabbing tissues for my, uh, allergies or whatever. 🥲

2.  Bring Me Downtown

    • My personal fave (I’ve said that about every song so don’t even quote me at this point). Maybe it’s my fault for letting him ruin downtown for me, not sure. This one hit way harder than it probably should’ve, and I’m not sure I’m okay with that just yet. Still, I can’t bring myself to go to our old go-to’s… because honestly, I only ever think about how youused to bring me downtown.

3.  Stranger Things (W/ Chase Matthew)

    • This one… it’s gonna make you question everything. And that’s okay. Sometimes forever isn’t really forever, but you can make up, realize you messed up, and hit rewind. The storytelling in this song? Top notch. And adding Chase to the mix? Chef’s kiss, Priscilla.

4. Goodwill To Gucci

5. Phones And Radios

    • A breakup song above all breakup songs. Phones and Radios will take you straight back to your first heartbreak.. whether that’s Priscilla’s goal or not. This is the track that climbs right to the tippy-top of your “sad bitch hours” playlist, the one you blast in the shower or on a late-night drive when no one’s watching.

6. Couldn’t Care Less

    • “That she should lose weight comment kept me up all night” – Talk about POWERFUL! Block popped off on this one and proved that words matter, no matter the fame, money, or fanbase. From setting a few rows back at award shows in sparkly dresses to scrolling through the comment section, Block strips her feelings down to a raw, honest place that few artists dare to show today. Listen once, listen twice… because damn, this song hurts, but it also makes me proud to be in the Block Party.

7. 2-3-4

    • 2 years, 3 months, and 4 days ago. Priscilla wasn’t counting… and neither were we. This song will have you singing “2, 3, 4” like it’s your new random number hyperfixation, when really, P just has you deep in your feelings and not keeping track of your ex anymore.

8. Try

    • So what time are we meeting on the dance floor for our line dance? Because I’ve got my shorts on and I’m ready to two-step my ass right out there. So… are we trying it out, or are you just gonna dance up against me and buy me another shot of whiskey? Was that a horrible pun? Maybe. But at least I tried, okay??

9. Good On You

    • I’d be lying if I said I didn’t record this one live at a Priscilla Block concert and send it straight to the man that broke my heart, and chose the guy who’s a little more polished, a little less bat-shit crazy. “Good On You” is the song you need when you want to feel something. Honestly, I’m not sure what that something is – but it’s straight fire. Priscilla poured everything into this track (except sweet little Huck), and here at House of Nickk – The Blog, we just can’t get enough!

10. Yard Sale

    • Follow ALL the yellow signs! Cause this one’s a certified Block party. The moment the voicemail plays, “Hey Priscilla-,” it’s lights out: I’m already tossing my ex’s crap onto the lawn, packing a cooler of Busch Light, and calling up the girls. Bonus points for the inevitable side-eye I’m giving the hot neighbor while I do it. This track is gloriously messy, loud, cheeky, and unapologetically fun. Everything’s half-priced, baby, so swing by and grab yourself something nice!

11. You’re Breaking My Heart (Cecilia)

    • Block takes Simon & Garfunkel’s 1970 classic “Cecilia” and flips it into something totally Pricilla. Gone are the days of sitting around heartbreak; this is full-on “Jolene who?” energy. Told from the other woman’s perspective, it’s cheeky, playful, and exactly the twist we didn’t know we needed. The song hooked us immediately, and yes, we’ve been helplessly watching PB teaching us the dance on TikTok. Musically, it’s the perfect comedown after the chaos of Yard Sale, giving us just the right amount of sass with a side of grin-worthy nostalgia.

12. He’s My Man

    • If Priscilla Block is the queen of heartbreak anthems, then this is her coronation into love songs. An anthem for love with a Block-style twist, “He’s My Man” flips her catalog on its head and makes you stop and wonder… “Do I need a man now?!” She takes you on a full ride: from digging deep within yourself, to selling your ex’s shit half price from 10–5, and suddenly finding yourself head-over-heels and walking down the aisle. It’s the kind of track that reminds you Priscilla isn’t just here to soundtrack your breakups—she’s here to soundtrack your whole damn life.

13. Elijah

    • “Just About Over You?” More like never over you. And honestly, we couldn’t be happier for P on this one. Elijah; you look good on our girl, and we’re so thankful for the happiness you’ve brought her (and this whole new light in her life). But the bridge… THE. BRIDGE. 🌉 (For reference: the freaking bridge.) “Look what 720 days without you turned into, And thank God I was never just about, just about over you.” I cried. You’re crying. Everyone’s crying.

14. Time Ain’t A Two Lane (Demo)

    • Giving us the demo of this song… was the justice it deserved. Hug your friends. Hug your loved ones. Tomorrow isn’t promised… and time definitely isn’t a two lane. 💔

To wrap this review up –

Priscilla, thank you for giving us everything. For being real, for showing up as you, and for never trying to be anything else. You’ve built a space in country music that feels honest, messy, loud, soft, and completely yours. Thank you for writing the songs that sound like our lives, for letting us cry, dance, and heal right along with you. You’ve given us more than an album, you’ve given us a story we feel. We see you, we love you, and we’re so damn proud of you. 🧡

xoxo- Nick <3
